I finally just put up an article on my website that I wrote for last month's column called "Is He My Soul Mate...Or Not?" if you'd like to take a peek. It's just so purty!
Oh how I wish. It's a picture of a poppy field somewhere in California I found at a copyright free place. I particularly chose it for two reasons. One, that's my goal...to stand in the middle of one. Hopefully, I'll pass a few fields of it on my way to California in September to take my own picture. Two, it has a significant meaning in my new book I'm working on at the present which is based in California, also.
Dorothy - cool! BTW, is it just my browser or is the graphic on your blog shmushing over your posts? BTW, Antelope Valley has a California Poppy Festival in April each year - when they're mostly in bloom, although they span quite some time - until October even.
If you want another fun read in a blog, go check The Absent Minded Housewife. It is Becky's site and her writing is really fun to read. She lists her town as Bendover, Nevada, which is not true but the name fits her blog fine. She has a small business of making costumes (with a link on the blog) & models them in her profile photo which she changes regularly, so don't believe what you see. Her current one is far out but was selected by her readers.
I went over to look. That is a nice flower photo. Did you take it?
