What Kind of a Writer Are You?

I am trying to get to all my blogging friends and my first stop was Kathy Holmes and I just had to take a break and see just what kind of writer I was...here are the results:

You Should Be a Film Writer

You don't just create compelling stories, you see them as clearly as a movie in your mind.
You have a knack for details and dialogue. You can really make a character come to life.
Chances are, you enjoy creating all types of stories. The joy is in the storytelling.
And nothing would please you more than millions of people seeing your story on the big screen!

I'm not sure about this one. I used to write plays for the neighborhood kids, but that was so yesterday...I would have no idea how to write a real one today. I give those guys credit and they don't have to worry about me trying to get in on it...lol.

But then I went back and read the text...okay, all of that makes sense. I just loooove dialogue. I love reading it and I love writing it. My characters do come to life when I have them speak. So, okay, I guess it's on the mark then. What kind of writer are you?

  1. I should take the test. I too am a writer. I was browsing published.com and was laughing at the definition of your blog. So, I thought I would drop in. You're never too old to write. I'll drop in again. :)

  5. Mine was the same as yours Dorothy although they didn't have the option of writing horror which is what I do aside from humour. Horror is my main genre.

    Interesting though!

    :o)
